About Us

Each of the four Learning Networks provide an effective forum to enable workforce learning and development, which is a key contributor to improving services in order to better meet the needs of service users and carers. We work in partnership with local agencies and stakeholders to support social service workforce development at ‘grassroots’ level.

We have agreed national aims and outcomes with the Scottish Government and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Each Learning Network is tasked with implementing the national aims through facilitating and supporting local structures and ways of working.
